The Wolverine Lacrosse team headed out for their first competition of the spring. Other than a short practice off campus, they have been stuck inside for training. When they arrived at the Holderness School, the team took the field in the first scrimmage of the day and walked away with a 7-4 win against a solid team.
While Coach Bamann was happy with the win, he has a few comments about the game. "We have been inside for so long we had a bit of a sloppy start. In this first game it was just great to see the field. I think we shot well and ended up beating a pretty talented team."
After a short break, the team took the field again against Kimball Union Academy. With a slower start, both sides of the field were making mistakes. BA still came out on top despite the "flat" play with a 6-4 win. Once again Coach Bamann was happy with the win but is looking forward to improving every time they take the field.
This Sunday the team will travel to Western New England College to take on the Golden Bears JV squad at 2:00 P.M.
