This past weekend the lacrosse team traveled down to Andover, MA to face Phillips Andover. They are a good team so the Wolverines knew they had to play well, and they did not disappoint walking away with an 11-6 win. The team jumped out to a 4-0 lead and continued at the half with a 7-1 lead.
Jeremy Buckley (Norwell, MA) lead the scoring with six goals in the contest. Matt Stango (Jupiter, FL) had two goals while Sean Fosse (New York, NY) added a goal and an assist. Brooks Billingham (Martha’s Vineyard, MA) tallied a goal and two assists and Ian Farley (Camillus, NY) contributed a goal and an assist. Colin Nesdale (Cheshire, CT) made 18 saves and Matt Mulligan (Garden City, NY) recorded one save as well.
“Our defense and goalies played amazing and our offense gave us a lot of support coach Bamann said”. We just came out and put the game away early.
Up next the team will play their only home game of the spring season as the Hyde School comes to North Bridgton on Wednesday the 27th to play at 4:00 P.M.
