BA Holds Hyde to One Goal

The Wolverine lacrosse team had their only home game of the spring this past week. They played the Hyde school and BA opened up the game with five straight goals. With an 11-0 lead at the half, BA kept rolling into the third quarter and never looked back. What was most impressive was the fact that 14 out of 17 goals were assisted which shows great teamwork.

Ian Farley (Camillus, NY) led the scoring with six goals and one assist. Brooks Billingham (Martha’s Vineyard, MA) added three goals and one assist. Alec Westerhoff (Le Grange Park, IL) and Dom Crowley (Bainbridge Island, WA) added two goals and one assist each. Jeremy Buckley (Norwell, MA) and Connor King (Deerfield, NH) each had one goal and two assists while Spencer Matches (Sammamish, WA) had one goal and one assist. Sean Fosse (New York, NY) added the last goal for the Wolverines and the rest of the assists were from Sean Williamson (Falmouth, MA), Jeff Christiano (Rivervale, NJ), Evan O’Donnell (Montclair, NJ), and Matt Stango (Jupiter, FL).

The Wolverines finish up their season next week with a game on Wednesday at New Hampton at 6:00 P.M. followed by the Newport Cup which is a tournament with Army and Navy prep as well as the Hill Academy.

The lacrosse team also wants to offer congratulations to baseball for an impressive couple of wins this week and good luck to rugby and tennis.
